Fleet Heroes are organisations that have implemented innovative solutions to reducing carbon emissions from business travel. They go the extra mile to ensure their car and van fleets are efficient and environmentally friendly.

The third annual Energy Saving Trust Fleet Hero Awards was launched at the end of March in partnership with the Guardian, The Observer and Fleet News.

This year we will be issuing awards across 10 categories, recognising organisations that have addressed issues such as business mileage, grey fleet, smarter driving and green procurement. There will also be awards for innovation, leadership and industry suppliers and the best small, medium and large fleets will be rewarded.

If you operate a fleet of 25 or more vehicles (under 3.5 tonnes) and have implemented projects that can demonstrate results in these areas, this could be your chance to showcase your achievements.

Entries are invited until May 30 and the winners will be announced at a ceremony in London in the autumn - and profiled in-depth in the Guardian and The Observer.
