The first major changes to traffic management on the M1 widening project in the East Midlands will be made over the next few weeks, the Highways Agency has advised. Since the beginning of the year narrow lanes have been in place on the northbound and southbound carriageways between Junction 26 at Nuthall and Junction 27 at Annesley. The AA has responded to the government’s consultation paper on Crackdown on Speeding and Drug-driving.
