The next generation Nissan Cube is set to be a global hit according to president and CEO Carlos Ghosn of Nissan. Already a success in Japan, Ghosn confirmed that the next Cube is to be launched in the UK next year alongside a seven-seat Quashqai.
The car takes its name from its boxy shape and it should arrive on these shores with eco-friendly engines – a 1.5 diesel and 1.6 petrol engine should be available from launch.
The Japanese maker will certainly be busy over the coming months as stretched seven-seat Qashqai+2 in September and an all-new five-seat Murano 4×4 in October.
Keep an eye out on www.roadtestreports.co.uk for a road test on the first generation Nissan Cube as it will appear online this week.
