Fleet giant Alphabet is launching a colour-coded method of displaying a vehicle’s CO2 emissions.
In doing so Alphabet is aiming to help its customers reduce their carbon footprint and help to save them money on their ever increasing fuel bill.
Alphabet’s director Mark Sinclair said: “Our carbon report is a strong starting point for discussions with our customers about reducing their CO2 emissions and managing whole life costs. Educating drivers and making subtle tweaks to allocation policies may be just as effective as, for example, imposing caps on CO2.”
The Fleet Carbon Report is based on the Vehicle Certification Agency’s ‘green label’ system. The reports are compiled using VCA emissions data and Alphabet contract data.
Alphabet is a multi-make fleet services company based in 15 countries - providing individual fleet solutions and fleet management for companies.
