Vauxhall Insignia Interior unveiled

Vauxhall has revealed the interior of one of the most eagerly awaited fleet vehicles of the year – the Vauxhall Insignia.
As thought, the interior retains many elements of the Opel GTC concept – the design cue for this car.
One of the most interesting features that the pictures have revealed is that just like rivals VW and Renault, the Griffin badged maker has chosen, a parking brake rather than a traditional handbrake.
The dashboard lighting is set to white in normal driving mode but when you press the ‘sport’ button this changes to red. The Sport mode is should also give the driver a more responsive throttle and steering according to the maker.
A Vauxhall spokesman added: “Many of Insignia’s interior design features will provide the DNA for future Vauxhall designs.”
The Insignia will receive its official public unveiling at the London motor show in July with cars showroom ready before the end of the year.
