WBB Minerals Limited, one of the world’s biggest providers of industrial minerals, has switched its 80-strong Employee Car Ownership fleet to Provecta. The move to Provecta was made in order to advance communication to drivers.
The business had previously operated an ECO fleet for seven years and sought to maintain the cost savings and flexibility for drivers. Under the Provecta ECO these benefits remain, along with individual driver communication and tailored calculations of each driver’s allowance.
When the new Provecta scheme was introduced in January, all drivers whose cars were due for renewal in the next quarter were invited to a workshop to clarify the changes. Drivers were then able to access the dedicated driver area of Provecta’s website to attain quotes for precise vehicles or an array of vehicles based on criteria they specified. The website also gives drivers the CO2 emissions of their elected vehicle based on their yearly mileage assessment.

Provecta had exactly the approach we wanted, with the focus being on the drivers. Now our drivers are taken through the selection process individually and they communicate directly with Provecta on all matters. The launch in January went extremely well and the feedback I have had from drivers has been excellent.”
