The annual Fleet Safety Forum Awards for Excellence, sponsored by fleet management company ARVAL, was held on Friday (6 June) at a prestigious gala dinner at the Chesford Grange Hotel in Warwickshire, with more than 250 guests in attendance.

The awards are run by the Fleet Safety Forum, a division of road safety charity Brake, to recognise the achievements of those working in the rapidly developing field of road risk management. Generous donations on the night raised more than £8000 for Brake.

There were 44 winning or highly commended awards in many different categories, including Safe Vehicle Maintenance Award, Company Driver Safety Award, Fleet Service Provider of the Year and Risk Manager of the Year.

The presentation of the Fleet Safety Forum Awards for Excellence 2009 will be held on Thursday 25 June 2009. The deadline for Award entries is FRIDAY 3 APRIL 2009.
