Renault has announced prices for its latest Renaultsport model – it is of course the Twingo Renaultsport 133. A powerful hint is in the name as the Twingo has 133bhp and will start from £11,500.
To set the car apart from standard models the Twingo Renaultsport 133 will have extended wheel arches and sills. The French maker has added that the car will be available with its ‘Cup’ chassis as an option from launch. If you bought this option the Twingo would receive a lowered ride height, stiffened springs and dampers plus 17-inch alloys.
So that you can enjoy the Twingo Renaultsport 133 to the maximum, Renault will be giving each customer a free Renaultsport trackday in 2009 complete with driver training within the first 133 days of buying the car. You will be able to attend the trackday at any of these locations: Brands Hatch (Kent), Oulton Park (Cheshire), Cadwell Park (Lincolnshire) or Bedford Autodrome).
Renault has confirmed that insurance groups, performance data and further technical details will be released closer to the UK launch in September.
