Craig Moran has been appointed as sales manager for the 1link Hire Network daily rental e-commerce platform.
He will be responsible for the growth and development of 1link Hire Network, focusing especially on the contract hire market and strategies for corporate end users in the daily rental sector.
Craig has worked in the fleet industry for more than 25 years in a variety of sales roles, most recently as the head of business development for Nexus Vehicle Management.
He said: “I’m looking forward to this new role. epyx, the company behind 1link, are the market leaders in fleet e-commerce and the Hire Network platform helps customers and suppliers in the rental market radically improve the way rental is managed.
“The product has grown massively in use already during 2008 and we are looking to accelerate that process even further.”
Launched late in 2005, the 1link Hire Network e-commerce platform brings together car rental suppliers and purchasers in real-time.
For daily rental purchasers like major fleets, it enables online access to supplier quotations, hire pricing and booking. For daily rental suppliers, it provides access to a wide pool of customers, and ensures that invoices are always correct by electronically validating them through the 1link system.
