For the ultimate in car rental convenience, Avis now delivers its cars straight to customers’ doors. The delivery service has long been available for Avis’ corporate and fleet customers and is now on offer to all 12 million households on mainland UK.
Home Delivery is the latest in a long line of customer service improvements from the car rental company. Most notable this year include the launch of the Avis’ 3 Minute Promise, a time-saving service which guarantees customers’ rental car keys in less than three minutes, and Avis Business Solutions which helps companies comply with Duty of Care legislation. These innovations have been designed with customer convenience in mind.
“We have looked into the feasibility of Home Delivery for individual renters for sometime now and from our customers’ feedback we believe there is a real need for this product and the convenience it offers,” says Daniel McCarthy, Commercial Director, Avis UK. “Avis is committed to giving customers what they want, and our new service means we can reach any household on the mainland UK, six days a week at a time to suit them. This is yet another initiative designed to make life easier for our renters and when trials took place in Plymouth and London the service was very well received!”
