What a pity the tv programme makers did not mention that once the clampers have removed the clamped car from the private car park, they have no further legal precedence over it.this can be confirmed under the Wrongful Interference of Goods Act 1977, which was used successfully by a Dr.erskine fenty against Premier Parking Services in january 2008.it's a pity the tv programme makers never mentioned the fact that a clamp can be legally removed by the vehicle owner providing the clamp is not damaged.Chains and locks can be removed as these are an accessory to the clamp and not part of the clamp itself.again this was done successfully by a motorist whos sons moped was clamped. The father brought a tool kit and a spare wheel.he then took off the wheel with clap intact and took it to the clamping company. He told them they can keep the wheel as a momento.
