One of the UK’s leading vehicle rental giants Europcar is making it even easier to rent with its home delivery and collection service on both cars and vans.
The company will offer customers vehicles delivered right to their door and if they choose, it can be collected again at the end of the rental.
At present the cost for delivery and collection is just £10 for the first five miles each way, then £1.25 per mile thereafter, regardless of which Europcar location the car or van is rented from (These prices may be subject to change).
With a choice of 250 locations across the UK, there should be a branch within an average of just 20 minutes from every UK address.
Customers renting for 3 or more days have more benefits, the rental giant will offer these customers the option to buy a full tank of fuel up front at the start of the rental. This is at a rate of 3p per litre under the average high street price so it not only saves costs but eliminates the need to refuel at the end of the rental.
Catriona Lougher, Leisure Marketing Director for Europcar said: “This is all about making car and van rental as accessible and convenient as possible for our customers. By providing these services we are helping customers to get on with their rental without worrying about the logistics of collecting the vehicle or refuelling. It also means they have an opportunity to get used to the vehicle closer to home before they hit the open road.
