ALD International acquires remaining 49% of ALD Automotive Turkey
ALD Automotive, leading international company in full service leasing and fleet management, strengthens its position on the Turkish market.
After 3 years of joint venture, ALD International has recently reached an agreement with the Ozarmurkar family and bought their shares in the company. As a consequence ALD Automotive Turkey is now a 100% subsidiary of the ALD Automotive Group.
This transaction demonstrates the interest of ALD Automotive for the Turkish market where the company manages over 6,000 vehicles.
Cihan Diren, 39, has been appointed CEO of the Turkish subsidiary. He graduated from University of Central Lancashire in UK with a BA Honours degree in management. He started working for Société Générale in 2005 as Senior Vice President in charge of Africa, Middle East and Gulf Region for Trade Services Department of Retail Banking in Paris.
Alongside Cihan Diren, the Turkish management team is composed of Timur Kacar as Deputy CEO, Naci Yazici as Finance Director, Mutlu Emgen as Internal Auditor and Anne Ringrave who will coordinate operational organisation locally.
