A4 Avonmouth – work on St Brendans and St Andrews roundabouts
Due to the continued development of Cabot Park Distribution Park, improvements to St Brendans and St Andrews roundabouts are being carried out.
The improvements include widening of the carriageway approaches to the two roundabouts to enable increased turning space for large goods vehicles, and the signalisation of the roundabouts to facilitate improved traffic flow.
Work will continue the end of September, during which time there will be 24-hour lane closures in place at various locations and a temporary limit of 30mph. A number of full overnight closures of the roundabouts will be required during mid-September for the erection of overhead gantries.
