Citroen become official vehicle supplier for leading rugby team
London Wasps Rugby football club, Guinness Premiership winners 2007-08, and Citroen Retail Group have reached an agreement for the French manufacturer to supply a selection of cars and commercial vehicles to the successful London club.
Along with Serge Besten, Citroen make it a French one-two in the close season for the club; with the manufacturer providing staff and officials with access to its cars and also playing a key role in the Club’s Community development programme by providing the new Berlingo LCV and Relay vans as support.
The Retail Group will also aim to tempt Wasps supporters with special offers on Citroen vehicles bought from local dealerships, such as the ones at Slough and London West.
Peter Scrivener, London Wasps’ Commercial Director, commented; “We’re delighted to have Citroen supporting the team both on and off the pitch and the use of their vehicles will be especially beneficial to our community work.”
