Zenith adds two new diesel only groups
Zenith continues to develop its car hire capabilities with the launch of an industry first – two ‘Diesel Only’ groups in its daily rental service.
Until now, fleets that prefer diesel cars because of their fuel economy have had to take ‘pot luck’ when ordering a hire car from any of the UK’s leading daily rental companies. With the introduction of Zenith’s ‘Diesel Only’ groups, when a diesel is requested by a customer they are guaranteed a diesel vehicle.
The two ‘Diesel Only’ groups are for 5 door hatchbacks (Ford Focus or similar) and mini-mpv (Vauxhall Zafira or similar) for customers with long-term diesel requirements booked three days in advance.
Zenith’s daily rental service uses the company’s purchasing power to obtain highly competitive rates for customers. Customers have the added advantage of knowing that their requirements are being met and vehicles matched to their fleet policies, as fleet management customers of Zenith. In-depth reports and tightly controlled invoicing procedures also mean that a fleet’s daily rental requirements are managed efficiently and economically.
Zenith spokesperson Tim Buchan comments: “A shortage of available diesel vehicles has long been a frustration for fleet managers wanting to book suitable hire cars. Until now, they have had to choose from a standard grouping system, which includes both diesel and petrol models. Now our customers know that they are benefiting from competitive rates, a system that manages all their requirements and can now give them a diesel car if that is what they require.”
