Electric impression for Modec
Its is the second day of the CPL (Courier and Parcel Logistics) Expo 2008 at the Excel Centre, London and Modec, manufacturer of electric light commercials, are making an excellent impression on the show’s visitors.
Modec produce a range of commercial solutions including a drop side van, box van and chassis cab, all 100 per cent electric running. Designed to be charged overnight, Modec vehicles can cover around 100 miles at speeds up to 60mph and carry around 2 tonne.
Modec have also taken the opportunity to announce their partnership with global logistics company, UPS, the show’s main corporate supporter.
Roger Atkins, Sales Director, says the exhibition is a chance for Modec to prove to what their electric vehicles can do for courier businesses, providing commercially viable transport solutions without compromising on service.
“We’re really excited about this year’s CPL Expo,” comments Roger. “We’re thrilled to be beginning our relationship with UPS and can’t think of a better place to start it. I’m personally really looking forward to the chance to share what we can offer with an industry with so much potential to utilise the benefits of zero emission vehicles”.
