Ogilvie Fleet in 3 year partnership with Sheffield Wednesday FC

Fleet management company, Ogilvie Fleet have announced a partnership with Sheffield Wednesday FC for next three years.

Ogilvie Fleet will supply new cars to Sheffield Wednesday and in return Sheffield Wednesday will provide Ogilvie with access to various corporate sponsorship events at which they can entertain their clients and suppliers.

Nick Hardy, Ogilvie Fleet Sales & Marketing Director said:

“We’ve seen significant success with our sponsorship of the Sheffield Steelers Ice Hockey Club and were looking to broaden our identity with further types of reciprocal sponsorship opportunities. We approached Steve Coakley, Commercial Manager at Sheffield Wednesday earlier this year, asking how they could provide some of the exposure we needed. We were mightily impressed with the way they felt they could work in partnership with us and, unbeknown to us, they also had a need for extra vehicles. A perfect position for both parties and negotiations were concluded pretty quickly.

“From a business perspective, working with Sheffield Wednesday provides a fantastic way of us entertaining our clients and the brand awareness we receive from in return is invaluable. Plus, being involved with a club who clearly take pride in their place in the community matches the Ogilvie ethos completely.

“Despite the economic position we all find ourselves in, we continue to invest in growing our business throughout the UK and are incredibly grateful to Sheffield Wednesday for helping us promote Ogilvie Fleet on a national basis.”

Ogilvie Fleet currently operates a fleet of over 9,000 vehicles, leased to hundreds of clients throughout England, Scotland and Wales.
