Alfa Romeo Announces New Business Partners To Support Used Vehicle Remarketing Programme

Alfa Romeo UK has appointed two new suppliers help the company set class leading standards of quality and efficiency across its Approved Dealer used car remarketing programme. This drive is part of the Italian maker’s on-going network restructuring and business development plans.
Paragon Fleet Solutions has taken on all elements of defleeting, refurbishing, storing and transportation of ex-management, demonstration and rental vehicles for Alfa Romeo.
Paragon will be working very closely with JTK Remarketing which has also been newly appointed to provide a web based remarketing system for dealers to source used vehicles directly from Alfa Romeo.
Paragon will be operating a facility at Upper Heyford in Oxfordshire to handle Alfa Romeo returns, where it will carry out all necessary inspections. Returned vehicles will then be refurbished to a forecourt-ready standard before being entered onto the new Alfa Romeo dealer remarketing system operated by JTK.
Dealers will have access to all available used Alfa Romeo vehicles through the JTK system, with accurate mileage, condition, colour and specification details displayed alongside the wholesale price.
As well as supplementing their used car stock through this central resource, dealers can search the database for specific used cars requested by customers, ensuring they don’t miss out on a sale.
Dealers can also put their own part-exchange or over-age stock onto the system to offer for sale throughout the Alfa Romeo network. All dealers pay is a flat buying or selling fee for the sale or purchase.
From Alfa Romeo’s perspective, JTK’s powerful inventory management module enables it to track the status of all elements of the de-fleet process, to ensure vehicles are moved through the pipeline quickly and efficiently.
Simon Wheeler, Used Vehicle Remarketing Manager: “Paragon and JTK have a strong track record in the remarketing sector, and together they provide us with a highly professional approach to managing our central used stock of cars. From a dealer perspective, the network has easy access to a fast changing stock of used vehicles that are forecourt-ready. By achieving a consistent level of preparation and vehicle condition, dealers can have the utmost confidence to buy used cars online without seeing them first,” he added.
