Fleet company Jaama experiences growing business
Fleet management software company, Jaama is experiencing a growth in business as fleets turn to utilising more technology to drive down transport costs.
Recently, the fast-growing company celebrated its fourth anniversary with a move to new premises in Tamworth to enable expansion to continue.
The offices are almost four times the size of its former nearby premises and already Jaama has added to its 40-strong team with the recruitment of Alistair Patterson and Kacper Saar.
A recent graduate from Wolverhampton University with a first class degree in computer science, Alistair is employed on the customer services desk as a support analyst to help businesses maximise the effectiveness of Jaama’s cutting-edge online Key2 Vehicle Management software.
Kacper is the company’s new e-media/web designer and will be involved in further developing Jaama’s online communications with existing and future customers. Most recently a freelance digital media designer, he has more than 11 years experience in designing and developing digital media for various platforms.
Jaama managing director Jason Francis said: “With the UK already in recession and the brake expected to be on economic growth through to 2010, companies across the board are focusing on cost management.
“To do that effectively, corporates require specialist software to manage their fleet. They also require fleet software modules to integrate with existing software used by other corporate departments, such as HR and finance.
“Maintaining Jaama’s rapid growth is going to be tough but we have invested heavily to develop world-class management software that is helping organisations control costs, streamline operations and stay ahead of the competition.”
Jaama supplies systems to many vehicle leasing and rental companies, accident management companies and to a wide range of car and commercial end-user fleets.
Major customers include: British Transport Police, BCA, Hertfordshire County Council, DHL Express, DHL International, Sheffield Insulation Group, Steria, Fleet Hire, Newton Vehicle Rentals, Phones 4U and Advantage Incident Management.
