Nissan Motors (GB) Limited has made the new Motor Industry Code of Practice for Service and Repair compulsory for its entire network of 180 franchised dealers and authorised repairers across the UK and Northern Ireland.
The Japanese maker has confirmed that it will be fully funding the dealer subscription costs, annual renewal costs and costs for compliance checks.
Through their membership to the Code of Practice, dealers and repairers are committing themselves to providing customers with an honest service, open and fair pricing and billing, all work completed as agreed, competent and conscience staff and a straightforward, swift complaints procedure.

A delighted Steve McLennan, Director of Network Development and Quality for Nissan said, “We are pleased to be involved in the introduction of the new Code of Practice. All customers will benefit from this code as it sets clear standards for dealers and repair centres for repairing and servicing vehicles. This Code can only help to improve customer satisfaction.”
