Yorkshire and the Humber Roadworks Update – Saturday 22 November to Friday 28 November
M62 Gildersome Roundabout, south of Leeds
Slight delays are expected at Junction 27 (Gildersome) of the M62 due to roundabout improvement work. There will be various lane closures on the roundabouts and approaches until mid-December. Work takes place overnight 8pm to 6am. Narrow lanes will be in place over 24 hours.
M621, Junction 1 (Gildersome) to Junction 3 (City Centre), south of Leeds
Moderate delays are expected on the M621 between Junction 1 (Gildersome) and Junction 3 (city centre) due to gantry signing works. The clockwise carriageway will be closed from 24 to 28 November between 8pm and 5am. A diversion will operate via the local road network.
M62, Junction 23 (Outlane) to Junction 22 (Rishworth Moor), west of Huddersfield
Slight delays are expected on the M62 between Junction 23 (Outlane) and Junction 22 (Rishworth Moor) due to renewal of road markings and road studs. Two lanes of the westbound carriageway will be closed for two nights between 8pm and 6am on 22 and 23 November.
M62, Junction 22 (Rishworth Moor), west of Huddersfield
Moderate delays are expected at Junction 22 of the M62 (Rishworth Moor) due to communication works. The eastbound entry slip road will be closed from 24 to 29 November between 8pm and 6am. A diversion will operate via Junction 21 of the M62.
M62, Junction 37 (Howden) to Junction 38 (North Cave), west of Hull
Slight delays are expected on the M62 between Junction 37 (Howden) and Junction 38 (North Cave) due to central reserve works. Two lanes will be closed eastbound and one lane will be closed westbound, with a 50 mph speed restriction on both carriageways until 21 December. Work takes place over 24 hours. The work is scheduled to be completed by 28 April.
M62, Junction 37 (Howden) to Junction 38 (North Cave), west of Hull
Severe delays are expected on the M62 between Junction 37 (Howden) and Junction 38 (North Cave) due to bridge demolition. The eastbound and westbound carriageways will be closed overnight from 8pm on 22 November until 10am on 23 November. A diversion will operate via local roads.
M1, Junction 41 (Carr Gate), north of Wakefield
Slight delays are expected at Junction 41 of the M1 (Carr Gate) due to the installation of traffic signals at the roundabout. All work will take place overnight between 8pm and 6am, and there will be various lane closures at the junction for the duration of the works. On occasion, it will also be necessary to close either the northbound or southbound exit slip roads, for which fully-signed diversion routes will be in place.
M62, Junction 34 (Whitley Bridge), east of Castleford
Slight delays are expected on the M62 at Junction 34 (Whitley Bridge) due to bridge works. Two lanes will be closed on the westbound carriageway between 8pm and 6am until 24 November.
M62, Junction 33 (Knottingley), east of Castleford
Slight delays are expected on the M62 at Junction 33 (Knottingley) due to bridge works. Two lanes will be closed on the westbound carriageway overnight from 8pm to 6am until 1 December.
A1(M), Junction 35 (Wadworth) to Junction 37 (Marr), south of Doncaster
Moderate delays are expected on the A1 (M) between Junction 35 (Wadworth) and Junction 37 (Marr) due to carriageway renewal. The northbound carriageway, and the northbound entry sliproad at Junction 36 (Warmsworth), will be closed between 8pm and 6am until 28 November. A diversion will operate via the local road network.
M621, Junction 7 (Stourton) to Junction 4 (Hunslet), south of Leeds
Moderate delays are expected on the M621 between Junction7 (Stourton) and Junction 4 (Hunslet) due to gantry signing works. The anti-clockwise carriageway will be closed from 28 November to 2 December between 8pm and 5am. A diversion will operate via the local road network.
A616, Wortley, north of Sheffield
Moderate delays are expected on the A616 at Wortley due to resurfacing and renewal of road studs. The eastbound and westbound exit slip roads will be closed and there will be one lane closed on the main carriageway. Work takes place 8pm to 6am from 26 November to 4 December (eastbound exit slip) and 28 November to 3 December (westbound exit slip). Diversions will operate via the local road network.
A64, Scampston to Knapton, north-east of York
Slight delays are expected on the A64 between Scampston and Knapton due to pavement renewal works. There will be convoy working on the eastbound carriageway until 29 November between 8pm and 6am.
