Aston Villa selects Vauxhall Commercial Vehicles
Aston Villa Football Club has been making the most of the eight Vauxhall Commercial Vehicles currently in use at their Villa Park stadium and Bodymoor Heath training ground.
The vehicles – a Combo and seven Movanos comprising four high roofs and three minibuses have been put to a range of uses by the club. The high roof Movanos are used for both kit transportation and by the merchandise operation, which runs shops at the ground as well as in Birmingham city centre. Two of the minibuses carry the academy players to matches and the training ground, while the third works as a shuttle bus for staff to and from Villa Park and an off-site car park on match days.
Aston Villa Partnerships Activation Executive, Ronan Clancy commented: “Aston Villa Football Club was proud to welcome Vauxhall as our new commercial vehicle supplier for the 2008-09 season. We are looking forward to building on our strong relationship with Vauxhall over the rest of the season and are delighted to have the use of such fine vehicles, which are used on a daily basis around Villa Park and at our training ground.”
