M5 junctions 30-31 – southbound overnight closures for work on rail bridge
The southbound carriageway of the M5 near Exeter will be closed overnight for five nights between the 8th and 12th February to allow rail contractors to carry out work on the railway bridge between junctions 30-31.
Birse Rail has requested the closures from 21.00 hrs to 06.00 hours each night.
Road users wishing to travel southbound from J30 or join the M5 southbound will be diverted to take the A379 south to join the A38 and continue their journeys. Drivers wishing to join the A30 should continue along the A379 to Kennford, then turn around and travel back along the A38 to join the A30 at J31.
