New 911 GT3 To Be Revealed By Porsche

If you are a user-chooser and looking for a new high powered supercar then this may be what you are looking for – has announced that it is to unveil the 911 GT3 at the Geneva Motor Show on March 3 2009 and the luxury car maker has confirmed that the latest 911 GT3 will arrive in the UK this autumn.
The latest 911 GT3 has enhanced performance and driving dynamics.
The 3.8-litre six-cylinder naturally aspirated power unit now develops a maximum output of 435 hp, that’s 20bhp over its predecessor.
With an improvement in power, the 911 GT3 is quicker than its predecessor. It will get from zero to 62 mph in 4.1 seconds and reaches 99 mph in 8.2 seconds while it has a top speed of 194 mph.
The 911 GT3 comes with Porsche Stability Management (PSM), offering the facility to deactivate both Stability Control (SC) and Traction Control (TC) in separate steps.
The maker claims that the vehicle has increased grip and stability at high speeds, courtesy of modifications to the car’s aerodynamics which have increased downforce to the front and rear to such an extent that the overall air pressure pushing down on the car is more than twice as great as on the former model.
At the same time, the new ‘Aerodynamics Package’ gives the GT3 a distinctive appearance which is further accentuated by new Bi-Xenon headlights, LED rear light clusters, and modified air intakes and outlets.
To keep the 911 GT3 secure it has been fitted with a Porsche Vehicle Tracking System (VTS), this is a sophisticated vehicle security package approved to Thatcham Category 5 standard.
Buyers will also enjoy a complimentary course at the new Porsche Driving Experience Centre, Silverstone.
The new Porsche 911 GT3 goes on sale in the United Kingdom and Ireland from autumn 2009, priced from £81,914. Further specifications and technical details will be confirmed nearer to launch.
