TransLinc appoints Paul Wood as fleet services director

The UK’s leading provider of local authority , TransLinc, has appointed Paul Wood as Fleet Services Director.

Paul joins in March and will assume responsibility for all Fleet Sales and Service activity across its 45 customers. He will also be responsible for expanding ’s customer base and ensuring its diverse fleet of 3000 vehicles, covering everything from cars and light commercial vehicles (LCVs) to Refuse Collection Vehicles (RCVs) and Gritters, is managed and maintained efficiently.

As a qualified mechanical engineer, Paul brings extensive knowledge of the public sector and utilities industry from previous roles with British Gas, Northern Electric and Lincolnshire County Council. For the past 10 years, Paul has been Managing Director for Vehicle Lease and Service LTD (VLS), supplying a full range of commercial vehicle funding, maintenance and vehicle management services for utility and public sector customers.
