Damovo appoints Zenith Provecta

Damovo, a leading UK provider of information, communication and technology solutions and services, has awarded Zenith Provecta the contract to manage its 100 vehicle fleet. The contract includes contract hire for all new vehicles, all servicing, maintenance management and disposals for its existing vehicles, daily rental requirements and accident management.

The fleet of 100 vehicles, used by Damovo’s technical and support staff, was put out to tender during a full strategic review of the total fleet operations. Zenith Provecta proposed a bespoke solution, including individual driver management and the transfer of the existing fleet. Driving license checks and an ongoing fleet carbon audit and carbon reduction advice will also be provided by Zenith Provecta.

Detailed quarterly management information reports will be prepared for Damovo, as they are for all Zenith Provecta clients, which include cost savings analysis, carbon analysis, and a risk management assessment.

Damovo drivers will have access to Zenith Provecta’s online quotation and ordering system as well as automatic reminders for routine servicing.

Damovo’s Human Resources Director, Lynsey Tucker, comments: “We were very impressed overall with Zenith Provecta, particularly the highly detailed management information they produce and their approach to managing all our drivers. When one of our drivers calls Zenith Provecta they get though to their own account manager, who has all the relevant information at their fingertips and can give immediate, individual advice and assistance.”

The Damovo fleet consists mainly of Peugeot, Honda, Vauxhall and BMW and the average CO2 for the fleet is 144g/km, with all new vehicle orders capped at 160g/km.

Lynsey Tucker concludes: “It is very important to us to reduce our carbon footprint, and we are working closely with Zenith Provecta to continue our efforts in this area.”

Zenith Provecta became the UK’s largest independent fleet management company after the acquisition in May 2008 of Provecta Car Plan, the UK’s leading Employee Car Ownership specialist. Zenith Provecta, providing fleet management services since 1989, provides fleet funding and management services for company and employee-owned vehicles and now manages a fleet of over 26,000 vehicles.
