Jaama ‘Data Staging’ Makes Vehicle Information Management Simple

Jaama, the solutions specialist, has launched a new ‘data staging’ module for its Key2 system that will simplify the management of new vehicle information for it’s customers.

The new module will enable new and updated industry standard vehicle-related information from a range of providers including CAP, Motorconsult, and KeeResources to be imported into a ‘middleware’ management database. It is then available for individual customer manipulation prior to it being added to their system for use in preparing customer quotations.

Thousands of individual pieces of new data are available from information providers each month. Status indicators built into ‘data staging’ highlight when new information from providers, relating to new vehicle pricing, accessory and option updates, residual values, service, maintenance and repair costs, dealer discounts, manufacturer bonuses and VED changes are available.

supplies systems to more than a dozen vehicle leasing and rental companies, an accident management company and to a wide range of car and commercial end-user fleets. Major leasing company customers include: Fleet Hire, Ogilvie Fleet, Newton Vehicle Rentals and iFleet.

Jaama managing director Jason Francis said: “Our new ‘data staging’ module does not affect current vehicle quotations. What the module does do is allow the previewing of price changes on monthly rental rates prior to the full uploading of the specific information into Key2.

“For example, ‘what-if’ live can be used in ‘data staging’ to compare before and after scenarios on individuals quotations or a complete rate book. In addition, workflow process management ensures clients using Key2 contract hire and leasing have undertaken all the pricing stages necessary ahead of issuing new quotations.”
