Network Automotive Win Bosch Service Deal
Network Automotive, the Bedfordshire based fleet industry support consultancy, have won a deal to provide advice and support on business development to the 500 independent garages that are make up the Bosch Car Service network. As part of the contract they will also provide six launch road shows and 45 Bosch Profit Clinics, the latter of which have been designed to help increase invoice value, raise customer footfall, improve business and organisational processes, and manage staff more effectively.
Colin Bruder, managing director at Network Automotive, said: “There are huge opportunities for independent garages to win a greater share of aftersales business. We are working with Bosch and their member garages to maximise the opportunities that exist in the market through in-depth advice and support.
“The Profit Clinics form a key element within this but we will also be working with some of the garages on an individual basis as well as reviewing their performance at a national level with the management team from Bosch.
“We believe that this programme could make a real difference to the operations of these garages and enhance profitability. This is an opportunity that enables us to bring to bear an extensive range of our abilities as an automotive consultancy.”
Chris Paxman, Bosch Car Service Sales Manager at Bosch, said: “We bring as much value as possible to the garages that form the Bosch Car Service network and providing this type of consultancy advice, which is especially valuable in the current trading climate, is very much part of our thinking.”
Gary Stanyon has been appointed to the new role of Business Development Manager and will head the Bosch programme. He has nearly three decades of motor industry experience, from becoming an apprentice technician in 1980 and working his way up and through a wide variety of managerial roles with VAG UK and Nissan GB, in addition as being a Peugeot dealer principal.
Gary said: “The Bosch Car Service network is already very well established and successful. However, we believe that the Profit Clinics concept will help these highly professional independent garages grow their businesses still further.”
