epyx Dashboard Gives Complete Fleet Disposal Control

epyx, the company behind 1link Disposal Network e-commerce platform, have added a new “dashboard” to provide fleet managers with at a glance information such as which vehicles are unsold, awaiting payment, under offer or paid for and require movement. The company have already reported a record quarter for the platform in Q1 but the period from April-June looks set to outstrip even this.

Ken Trinder, head of business development at epyx, explained that the dashboard had been developed in response to requests from fleet managers.

He said: “As fleets dispose of more and more stock through 1link Disposal Network, they need a means to track their activity quickly and easily, and the dashboard is our solution. We are reaching a point where 1link Disposal Network is becoming the fleet industry e-commerce standard for disposal in the same way that our 1link Service Network platform already holds that position for service and maintenance.”

As evidence, he pointed to a number of key major fleet signings to the platform in 2009, including GE Capital Solutions, ING Car Lease, Volkswagen Financial Services and Inchcape Fleet Solutions.

Trinder continued: “1link Disposal Network has really started to gain momentum in the last few months as the recession has prompted fleets to look for new ways dispose of vehicles.”
