Future Fleet Star: Audi A3 1.6 TDI
Following hot on the heels of the new Audi A4 2.0 TDIe is an even more fleet friendly Audi.
The German carmaker has developed a new frugal 1.6 litre TDI unit which is coming to the A3, A3 Sportback, and A3 Cabriolet this July. The best news for fleets is in its fuel economy figures where it reveals impressive figures of 68.9mpg (combined) for the hatchback and Sportback versions, and 65.7mpg for the open-top version.

CO2 emission figures are also impressive with 109g/km for the hatch and sportbacks and 114g/km for the cabriolet providing an excellent reason why these cars should do well on company car lists. Furthermore the cars come with start/stop engine technology and regenerative brake energy technology to further improve their green credentials.
Statistics
- A3 1.6 TDI – 0-62mph in 11.4 seconds, top speed 121mph, 68.9mpg combined, 109g/km CO2 output
- A3 Cabriolet 1.6 TDI – 0-62mph in 12.2 seconds, top speed 118mph, 65.7mpg combined, 114g/km CO2 output
