M180 safety improvement scheme

A scheme to improve road safety on the M180 near Doncaster starts on Thursday 3 September and is expected to last for 8 weeks.
The Highways Agency will replace the steel central reservation barrier on a 1.9 mile (3km) stretch of the motorway between Junction 1 (Tudworth) and Junction 2 (Belton) with a safer, concrete barrier. [...]

£850,000 M6 Bridges Improvements

The Highways Agency is spending nearly £850,000 to improve five bridges linking farms and communities across the M6 in Lancashire.
The bridges are all located between Junctions 32 and 33 of the motorway between Broughton and Galgate.   The work is due to begin next month.

North East road works update – 29th August – 4th September

A1M Junctions 58 to 59, County DurhamSlight delays are expected on the A1M between Junctions 58 and 59 due to bridge repairs. There will be a contraflow with narrow lanes both north and southbound and a 50mph speed limit. Restrictions will be in place 24 hours. The works are scheduled until October.
