Manheim Key To De-Fleet Success For Arval
Manheim, the world’s largest automotive services company, has shown its comprehensive remarketing proposition, which includes several value-added services, offers unrivalled support to its vendors, including a ‘key-for-key’ facility. One of its prominent customers to benefit from Manheim’s experience is Arval who has seen, over a period of four weeks more than 200 of its vans, operated by Thales maintainer of 95% of Network Rail’s telecommunications infrastructure, driven to their nearest Manheim Auction centre where Arval representatives met with the Thales drivers and coordinated the handover of their new 09 plate vans. The de-fleeted vans, mainly Renault Kangoo SL19 1.5DCI , then had trade name decals removed, were valeted, marketed and entered for sale within Arval’s branded van auction programme.

Vans are effectively delivered straight into the selling centre by the driver for immediate defleet and sale.”
