Navman Wireless Win Top ITM Award For Second Consecutive Year
Navman Wireless, the UK’s largest manufacturer of tracking, messaging and navigation equipment, has once again beaten off stiff competition from other big names and has clinched the Best GPS Navigation Company 2009 Award from the Institute of Transport Management (ITM) for the second year running after in-depth market research found Navman Wireless to be the clear winner when it comes to the best vehicle tracking system on the market.
Announcing the Award, ITM Awards Liaison Officer, Philip Leung said: “Mobile information technology is now a vital part of running a fleet and innovation in the industry is becoming ever more rapid.
“But nowhere is progress swifter than at Navman Wireless. The company’s commitment to pioneering new technology and investment in appropriate resources mean that when a new development arises in the sector, it arises at Navman Wireless first.”
Mr Leung attributes the company’s latest innovation, the M-Nav 750, to helping it retain the award.
“The product is the only specialist satellite device available to business users which offers navigation, tracking and messaging in one slick package,” he said.
“Navman Wireless’ vehicle tracking is reliable, convenient and detailed enough to suit the needs of any user in the fleet sector. Companies looking to stay ahead of the competition and keep operational costs down would be hard pressed to find a better provider for their mobile technology requirements.”
Tony Neill, Executive Vice President at Navman Wireless, added: “To be recognised by the ITM is extremely rewarding and serves to strengthen our reputation as a world leader in telematics technology.”
Navman Wireless will receive its aware at the ITM annual award ceremony being held at the Carbon 2009 Show, which will run from September 29-30 at the ExCel in London.
