Parker’s and 118 118 announce partnership
Parker’s and 118 118 have joined forces to launch a co-branded SMS system that unites the communication channel of 118 118 with the pricing knowledge of Parker’s.
Parker’s already run a mobile service, where you can find out the value of a car by texting ‘PRICE’ to 80806 – together with the car’s licence plate and mileage details and then the user receives a full valuation for a franchised dealer, independent dealer, private (good condition), private (poor condition), and part exchange value. Now this service has been extended to 118 118, for any users who show an interest in car dealers or auction centres, or just want car pricing information.

Parker’s and 118 118 are also planning to extend the offer to include answers to other car-related questions, for example “what are the service intervals on a Ford Focus?”
