CFC Software Chosen By UK’s Largest Independent Parts Supplier

CFC Solutions has seen its Fleet Plus fleet management software chosen by Euro Car Parts Limited, the UK’s largest independent supplier of car and van parts, to streamline its fleet management of fuel costs and driver compliance on its 500 van fleet, which will be used in conjunction with CFC’s Licence Link to check driver compliance with the DVLA.

David Bevan, director at ECP, said: “We wanted to acquire fleet management software to improve the information and control on our parts fleet, which makes four million deliveries a year.

“Using Fleet Plus, we will be able to take much greater control in all kinds of areas of cost, especially when it comes to reducing fuel expenditure, and also to ensure that our drivers are safe and legal to drive using Licence Link. Ultimately this will reduce the cost of parts to garages and help provide affordable mobility to the UK public.

“We have chosen CFC as a supplier because of their in-depth industry knowledge and experience in the fleet industry as well as the strength of their products. Also, their pay-as-you-go approach to pricing was flexible and fair.”

Developed for medium to large organisations with a requirement to manage in-house fleets efficiently and only recently made available on a PAYG, Fleet Plus is an essential tool for tracking and managing costs throughout the whole vehicle life cycle.  It is a complete software solution designed to manage the diverse needs of 21^st century fleet managers.

Licence Link allows fleets to automatically check employee driving licences against the DVLA database online. Alerts are sent to the fleet manager if the checks show changes to endorsements, the categories of vehicle that an employee is allowed to drive or if there are critical licence events such as disqualification or a photo card expiring.
