Kwik-Fit reports 48 per cent increase in MOTs

Online bookings grow 150 per cent year on year

Fast fit repair group, today announced that it has achieved a 48 per cent increase in MOT tests compared to the same period last year, consolidating its position as the UK’s largest MOT provider. The company reports that MOT test bookings have more than doubled in the last two years.

Kwik-Fit attributes much of its success to its online booking facility, which has seen in excess of a 150 per cent increase in customer bookings year on year.

David White, Customer Services Director, Kwik-Fit, comments: “MOTs has been a tremendous success and it’s testament to our efforts in delivering a high quality service to our customers. We now have MOT facilities at over 75 per cent of our centres nationwide, and we expect this figure to continue to grow in the near future. Our safe and secure, easy to use online booking facility has been a great success as it allows customers to book an MOT at a time and place convenient to them.”

He continued: “Tyres remain the largest part of our but we’re continuously widening our offering and our success in the MOT market demonstrates that this strategy is working.”

Motorists booking and paying online can get an MOT for a market busting £35, which represents an incredible saving of 35% on the statutory MOT fee.
