Citroen scoops GreenFleet LCV Manufacturer Award

For the second year in succession, Citroën has been awarded the title of GreenFleet LCV Manufacturer of the Year.  On the same day the Berlingo was voted Van of the Year and Small Van of the Year at the Fleet Van awards and just a few days earlier, the Berlingo Crew Van was named LCV of the Year by the Institute of Transport Management.

Martin Freedman, GreenFleet magazine publisher, commented, “In awarding Citroën the GreenFleet LCV Manufacturer of the Year award, we have recognised Citroën’s programme of continuous improvement in developing the efficiency and reducing the environmental impact of its LCVs.”

Robert Handyside, Citroën’s commercial vehicle operations manager, said, “Citroën is committed to reducing the environmental impact of its LCV range.  So we are delighted to have won the GreenFleet LCV Manufacturer of the Year award for the second year in a row.  This award recognises the Company’s massive investment in advanced technology and the resulting improvement in fuel efficiency and reduced CO2 emissions.”

The GreenFleet LCV Manufacturer of the Year award recognises Citroën’s on-going programme to improve the environmental credentials of its LCV range and to enable its customers to reduce their carbon footprint.
