FBP Publish Free Guide For Small Fleets To Maximise Efficiency
Freight Best Practice (FBP), the DfT funded body, has published a new Free guide that for smaller fleets and owner drivers wishing to improve their efficiency by highlighting the range of potential measures available to the smaller operator which are cost effective, easily implemented and not just limited to larger fleets who may have more readily available resources.
The guide, which is entitled ‘Efficient Operations for Small Fleets and Owner Drivers’ illustrates how operators can manage their costs more effectively and also how to make every mile count with measures including: Driver Training; Anti-idling; Vehicle Specification; Aerodynamics; Fuel Efficiency Tyres and Wheel Alignment; Preventative Maintenance.
