EcoTrack Secures GreenFleet Award For CMS SupaTrack
CMS SupaTrak, the fuel saving, vehicle tracking and fleet management solutions provider, have been awarded the IT Innovation award at this years GreenFleet Awards, presented by motoring journalist and presenter Tiff Needell, for their EcoTrak fuel saving solution, which uses CANbus technology enabling fleet managers to manage their drivers’ behaviours in real time and identify areas of good and poor performance thereby producing a more efficient driving style. As a result, fuel costs can be significantly reduced and vehicle carbon emissions lowered.
The event, which recognises organisations taking steps towards and contributing to sustainable transport and low carbon fleets, saw a record number of applications this year across the 23 categories.
The GreenFleet Awards judges commented that “the impressive customer case studies confirm the ability of the CMS SupaTrak solution to deliver targeted information that focuses management attention on those areas where the greatest operating cost reductions can be achieved. The cost savings and carbon dioxide reductions are indeed impressive.”
