Yorkshire and the Humber Roadworks Update – Saturday 28 November to Friday 4 December
M1, Junction 35 (Thorpe Hesley) to Junction 35a (Stocksbridge), east and north of Sheffield Slight delays are expected on the M1 between Junction 35 (Thorpe Hesley) and Junction 35a (Stocksbridge) due to central reservation barrier works. There will be various lane closures, hard shoulder running, narrow lanes and a 50 mph speed restriction. Work takes place Monday to Friday, 11pm to 6am, and from 8.30pm to 6am at weekends, until 11 January.
M1, Junction 33 (Sheffield Parkway) to Junction 34 (Meadowhall), south and west of Rotherham Slight delays are expected on the M1 between Junction 33 (Sheffield Parkway) and Junction 34 (Meadowhall) due to verge barrier works. There will be various overnight lane closures north and southbound. Work takes place Monday to Friday, 11pm to 6am, and from 8.30pm to 6am at weekends, until 7 December.
M1, Junction 30 (Barlborough) to Junction 31 (Aston), south of Rotherham Slight delays are expected on the M1 between Junction 30 (Barlborough) and Junction 31 (Aston) due to hard shoulder strengthening. There will be various lane closures in both directions between 10pm and 6am from 30 November to 16 December.
M18, Junction 2 (Wadworth), south of Doncaster Slight delays are expected at Junction 2 of the M18 (Wadworth) due to embankment stabilisation works. The hard shoulder will be closed over 24 hours and there will be various lane closures on the southbound exit slip road until January 2010.
M18, Junction 6 (Thorne) and Junction 7 (Langham), north of Doncaster Moderate delays are expected on the M18 between Junction 6 (Thorne) and Junction 7 (Langham) due to resurfacing. The northbound carriageway will be closed with traffic using the southbound carriageway in contraflow and there will be a 50 mph speed restriction. The northbound entry slip road at Junction 6 (Thorne) will also be closed. Work takes place over 24 hours until 21 December.
M62, Junction 25 (Brighouse) to Junction 28 (Tingley), south of Leeds Slight delays are expected on the M62 between Junction 25 (Brighouse) and Junction 28 (Tingley) due to lighting column works. There will be hard shoulder and overnight lane one closures in both directions until early December.
M62, Junction 22 (Rishworth Moor) to Junction 23 (Outlane), west of Huddersfield Slight delays are expected on the M62 between Junction 22 (Rishworth Moor) and Junction 23 (Outlane) due to central reserve barrier works. There will be two lanes closed in both directions between 8pm and 6am until 16 January.
A1, Junction 38 (Redhouse), north of Doncaster Slight delays are expected at the interchange with the A1 (M) Junction 38, A1 and A638 at Redhouse due to electrical works. There will be various hard shoulder, slip road and lane closures in both directions between 8pm and 6am until 3 December.
A160, Brocklesby to Manby, west of Grimsby Slight delays are expected on the A160 between Brocklesby and Manby due to carriageway survey works. There will be various lane closures in both directions until 30 January between 8pm and 6am.
