Jaama, the fleet software and occupational road safety specialist, has seen 2009 bring not only its recently celebrated fifth birthday but also a number of contract wins, and with a number of new business opportunities in the pipeline their successful year is far from over.
As companies look to maximise their use of online fleet management software to reduce operating costs, Jaama is continuing to recruit new customer service advisers to support those clients.
Jaama is therefore pleased to announce Simon Smith, as the latest addition to their team of first line support analysts. Simon has joined Jaama’s customer services desk to help businesses maximise the effectiveness of their Key2 Vehicle Management technology and brings a background of more than three years working in the computer industry, is Jaama’s sixth recruit in less than four months.
Managing director Jason Francis said: “The economic downturn has prompted businesses to analyse all aspects of their operations, including how they manage their fleet.
“Many public and private sector organisations have recognised that investment in the very latest fleet management software can significantly reduce both operating costs and administration time.
“As a result, Jaama is winning new business and that means we are continuing to recruit new employees to both continue to develop new modules at the request of customers and deliver expert help and advice on the frontline to enable clients to use the Key2 technology to achieve optimum fleet efficiencies.”
The role of support analyst involves many responsibilities including handling service requests, resolving incidents, providing customers with software usage advice, providing updates and detailed product release information, collating product enhancement suggestions and testing product service pack releases. All customer requests are logged, controlled and monitored to meet Jaama’s strict service standards.
Recent contract wins by Jaama include the delivery of systems to The Co-operative Group, strategic outsourcing and asset management company MITIE and independent distribution, warehousing and contract packaging company AK Worthington Ltd. These new customers join the esteemed company of existing users of Jaama’s Key2 software, which include British Transport Police, BCA, Luton Borough Council, Hertfordshire County Council, DHL, Sheffield Insulation Group, Steria, Fleet Hire, iFleet and Newtown Vehicle Rentals.
