Alliance Embarks On New Expansion With New Managing Director

Alliance Asset Management is pleased to announce the appointment of Vincent St Claire, to the position of Managing Director as it embarks on a new phase of expansion. The position was previously held by company founder Jeremy Lavallin who is moving to the newly created post of Chief Executive

Mr St Claire has a 25 year career in the fleet industry and most recently worked in a consultancy capacity for a wide range of fleet industry suppliers in the contract hire/ leasing, rental and travel sectors including undertaking project work on behalf of Alliance.

Previously he was commercial director of Leeds-based 1car1 Car and Van Rental and has additionally held senior posts with a number of major fleet organisations. These include the AA where he was Commercial Director of rental services, easyCar (International) and (UK) Ltd, and fleet management company Arval.

Mr Lavallin, who founded Alliance 14 years ago, said: “We are looking to expand the array of services we offer to our range of customers even further. As a result, Vincent has been appointed to take on the day-to-day management and development of the companies’ growth strategy enabling me to focus on pursuing new business opportunities.

“The combination of Vincent’s industry experience and knowledge of Alliance Asset Management’s existing operation is, I believe, a positive step forward.

“We anticipate increasing our marketplace presence in the near future with the launch of a strategic partnership with one of the UK’s largest firm’s of financial and business advisers. This will be the first of a number of new business channels that we will be launching in 2010.”

On his appointment at Alliance Asset Management, Mr St Claire said: “Alliance has excellent foundations and offers a broad cross section of funding and vehicle solutions to fleets, including contract hire, fleet management and rental.

“Alliance is an independent provider and not tied to a bank or any other organisation. Staff work closely with customers to deliver a wide-range of bespoke solutions to meet their individual funding and vehicle requirements.”

The company offers funding and vehicle solutions for rental companies; daily rental; a wide range of commercial services to fleets including vehicle funding and fleet management solutions as well as links to contract hire and leasing companies, finance houses and motor manufacturers; vehicle defleet and remarketing; finance products for dealers and vehicle logistics support.
