Fleet Director Wins New Contract
Trafficmaster has been commissioned to supply Midlands plumbing & heating contractors, A.M. Norris Ltd, with the latest Fleet Director fleet management solution, including Smartnav, for 60 of its fleet of Citroen vans with a further 90 new Citroen vans to be added, with Smartnav intelligent satellite navigation system already fitted, during 2010 and 2011.
Fleet Director is an internet-based fleet management system that enables managers to ensure vehicles are operating in the most cost efficient and productive way. Data from customers using Fleet Director has shown considerable fuel consumption and increased productivity by saving organisations time, idling time sitting in traffic. Fleet Director also helps reduce carbon emissions.
Smartnav is Trafficmaster’s highly sophisticated in-vehicle satellite navigation system. Drivers receive live traffic information with time-aware routing through the Smartnav Touchscreen to ensure they are always on the quickest route at any given time.
