C-Zero Tax In 2010 Thanks To Citroen

Thanks to the new Citroën C-Zero electric car, due to be launched in the last quarter of 2010, Citroën customers can be amongst the first to enjoy the benefits of tax-free motoring in 2010. Now available for pre-order the C-Zero will be exempt from company car tax and customers will also benefit from exceptionally low running costs with the vehicle achieving a range of around 80miles from a single charge using a domestic power supply. 

C-Zero The Citroën C-Zero is a full-electric 4 seater vehicle powered by a latest-generation 330-volt lithium-ion battery system mounted in the centre of the vehicle. A complete charge, from a 220-volt socket takes six hours, whilst an 80% charge is possible in just 30 minutes using an external station. It is resistant to partial re-charges, which have no impact on battery longevity.

The Citroën C-Zero is perfectly adapted to the needs of all kinds of users including public sector operators, local authorities, smaller businesses and company fleets.

With a 166 litre boot,a myriad of comfort and safety equipment the C-Zero is impressively quiet to drive and boasts power steering, ABS, traction control, ESP, electric windows, six airbags and air conditioning, making this compact car perfectly adapted to the needs of all kinds of users including public sector operators, local authorities, smaller businesses and company fleets.

Due to be launched in the last quarter of 2010, the C-Zero is developed in collaboration with Mitsubishi Motors Corporation.

Looks like this has the potential to be a good vehicle. We only hope that Peugeot/Citroën have better luck with Mitsubishi than others have had with attempted ties with them.
Anyone who has owned a Chrysler product with one of the Mitsubishi engines for any length of time can probably relate to this.
