Yorkshire and the Humber roadworks update: Saturday 9 January to Friday 15 January
Please note, these planned roadworks are weather dependent and due to the current cold weather conditions being experienced across the region they may be delayed.
M1, Junction 33 (Catcliffe) to Junction 34 (Tinsley), south and west of Rotherham Slight delays are expected on the M1 between Junction 33 (Catcliffe) and Junction 34 (Tinsley) due to central reservation barrier works. There will be various lane closures, hard shoulder running, narrow lanes and a 50 mph speed restriction northbound and southbound until 21 April between 8.30pm and 6am.
M1, Junction 30 (Barlborough) and Junction 31 (Aston), south of Rotherham Slight delays are expected on the M1 between Junction 30 (Barlborough) and Junction 31 (Aston) due to hard shoulder strengthening. There will be various lane closures northbound and southbound between 10pm and 6am until 9 January.
M1, Junction 41 (Carr Gate), north of Wakefield Slight delays are expected at Junction 41 of the M1 (Carr Gate) due to bridge works. There will be various lane closures north and southbound overnight from 8pm on 9 January until 6am on 10 January.
M1, Junction 30 (Barlborough) and Junction 31 (Aston), south of Rotherham Slight delays are expected on the M1 between Junction 30 (Barlborough) and Junction 31 (Aston) due to electrical work. There will be one lane or the hard shoulder in use northbound and southbound between 8pm and 5am from 11 to 18 January.
M1 Junction 31 (Tankersley), south of Barnsley Slight delays are expected at Junction 36 of the M1 (Tankersley) due to bridge works. There will be various lane closures north and southbound between 8pm and 6am from 11 to 15 January.
M62, Junction 25 (Brighouse) to 27 (Gildersome), south of Leeds Slight delays are expected on the M62 between Junction 25 (Brighouse) and Junction 27 (Gildersome) due to barrier works. There will be hard shoulder and overnight lane one closures in both directions until mid January.
M62 Junction 27 (Gildersome) and Junction 28 (Tingley), south of Leeds Moderate delays are expected on the M62 between Junction 27(Gildersome) and Junction 28 (Tingley) due to central reserve barrier works. Lane 3 in each direction will be closed with traffic using the hard shoulder .There will also be narrow lanes and a mandatory 50 mph speed limit enforced by average-speed cameras. Work takes place over 24 hours until 31 May.
M62 Junction 22 (Rishworth Moor) and Junction 23 (Outlane), west of Huddersfield Slight delays are expected on the M62 between Junction 22 (Rishworth Moor) and Junction 23 (Outlane) due to central reserve barrier works. There will be two lanes closed eastbound and westbound between 8pm and 6am until 31 January.
M180 Junction 2 (Woodhouse), west of Scunthorpe Moderate delays are expected on the M180 at Junction 2 (Woodhouse) due to renewal of road markings. The eastbound entry slip road will be closed for two nights on 15 and 16 January between 8pm and 6am. There will also be one lane open on the eastbound carriageway. A diversion will operate via M18 Junction 5.
A180 and A160 between Brocklesby and Manby, west of Grimsby Slight delays are expected on the A180 and A160 between Brocklesby and Manby due to survey works. There will be various lane closures eastbound and westbound until 30 January between 6pm and 6am.
There may also be short lengths of lane closures for routine maintenance work such as gully emptying, sweeping and litter clearance.
