M1 JUNCTION 25 TO JUNCTION 28 WIDENING

ONGOING – JUNCTION 25 TO JUNCTION 26

The north and southbound carriageways continue to be reduced to three narrow lanes with no hard shoulder and a 50mph speed limit from Junction 25 to 26.

ONGOING – JUNCTION 26 TO JUNCTION 27

The north and southbound carriageways continue to be reduced to three narrow lanes with no hard shoulder and a 50mph speed limit. Traffic will be running on the hard shoulder, lanes 1 and 2 both northbound and southbound.

The north and southbound carriageways continue to be reduced to three narrow lanes with no hard shoulder and a 50mph speed limit.

A1 PETERBOROUGH TO BLYTH JUNCTION IMPROVEMENTS

ONGOING – REPAIR WORKS TO BE CARRIED OUT AT A1/A614 BLYTH

The Highways Agency is carrying out repair work to the A1 at Blyth Junction (A1/A614) as a consequence of a major lorry fire incident that occurred at the junction.

Works will be required in early 2010 to repair concrete pipes affected by the fire and to clean up any contamination that is found. Further details will be confirmed when the programme and scope of repairs is fully determined.
