Your chance to become the 2010 Freight Best Practice Student of the Year

Freight Best Practice are once again running a Student of the Year essay competition which is open to all UK based University undergraduate and postgraduate students, and requires a 2,500 word or less essay answering the question ‘Technologies or behaviour: how do we decarbonise our supply chain?’

The 2010 competition is sponsored by transport consultancy AECOM with the winning student receiving a prize of £500 and a trophy which will be presented at the CILT’s Logistics Research Network Conference 2010, with travel and accommodation covered.

The author of the winning essay will also have the chance to complete a Student Placement working with the Freight Best Practice team either at the Department for Transport or within AECOM and will hold the impressive title of ‘2010 Freight Best Practice Student of the Year‘ which will stand out on any CV to future employers.

Essays should avoid duplicating existing work and be creative and practical in nature.  Diagrams and photographs can be used to help illustrate ideas.  Full entries must be received by 26th April 2010, with the winning author being notified in May.

To enter this prestigious competition, send your essay by 26th April to:
