Yorkshire and the Humber roadworks update Saturday 20 to Friday 26 February
M1, Junction 33 (Catcliffe) to Junction 34 (Tinsley), south and west of Rotherham Slight delays are expected on the M1 between Junction 33 (Catcliffe) and Junction 34 (Tinsley) due to carriageway renewal and central reservation barrier works. There will be some lane and hard shoulder closures in each direction, with narrow lanes and a 50 mph speed restriction enforced by average-speed cameras. Work takes place over 24 hours until 21 April.
M1 Junction 38 (Haigh), north of Barnsley Slight delays are expected on the M1 at Junction 38 (Haigh) due to bridge works. There will be various lane closures southbound from 21 February to 16 March over 24 hours.
M1 Junction 39 (Durkar) to Junction 40 (Ossett), west of Wakefield Slight delays are expected on the M1 between Junction 39 (Durkar) and Junction 40 (Ossett) due to bridge works. There will be one lane open southbound on 25 and 26 February between 8pm and 6 am.
M18, Junction 3 (St Catherine’s) and Junction 4 (West Moor), south and east of Doncaster.
Moderate delays are expected on the M18 between Junction 3 (St Catherine’s) and Junction 4 (West Moor) due to resurfacing and lining. The northbound carriageway will be closed overnight from 8pm until 6am on 26/27 February. A diversion will operate via the local road network.
M62, Junction 25 (Brighouse) to Junction 28 (Tingley), south of Bradford and Leeds Moderate delays are expected on the M62 between Junction 25 (Brighouse) and Junction 28 (Tingley) due to central reservation barrier works. There will be some lane and hard shoulder closures in each direction, with narrow lanes and a mandatory 50 mph speed restriction enforced by average-speed cameras. Work takes place over 24 hours until 31 May.
M62, Junction 22 (Rishworth Moor) and Junction 23 (Outlane), west of Huddersfield Slight delays are expected on the M62 between Junction 22 (Rishworth Moor) and Junction 23 (Outlane) due to central reservation barrier works. There will be two lanes closed eastbound and westbound between 8pm and 6am until 1April.
M62, Junction 29 (Lofthouse) and Junction 30 (Rothwell), south of Leeds Slight delays are expected on the M62 between Junction 29 (Lofthouse) and Junction 30 (Rothwell) due to hard shoulder, verge barrier, drainage, and junction improvements. There will be various lane closures eastbound and westbound, with narrow lanes and a 50 mph speed restriction enforced by average-speed cameras. Work takes place over 24 hours until 5 April.
M62 Junction 34 (Whitley Bridge) to Junction 33 (Knottingley) east of Wakefield Slight delays are expected on the M62 between Junction 34 (Whitley Bridge) and Junction 33 (Knottingley) due to drainage works. There will be one lane closed eastbound and two lanes closed westbound over 24 hours. Work takes place between 8pm and 6am from 26 February to 1 March.
A1(M), Junction 34 (Blyth) and Junction 35 (Wadworth), south of Doncaster Moderate delays are expected on the A1(M) between Junction 34 (Blyth) and Junction 35 (Wadworth) due to resurfacing and bridge works. The north and southbound carriageways will be closed until 20 February between 9pm and 6am. Diversions will operate via the local road network. There will also be various lane closures at Junction 34 southbound from 25 February until 4 March between 8pm and 6 am.
A1(M) Junction 37 (Marr), north of Doncaster Moderate delays are expected on the A1(M) at Junction 37 (Marr) due to bridge works. The north and southbound exit slips will be closed from 22 February until 13 March between 10pm and 6am. Diversions will operate via Junction 36.
A64 between Hopgrove roundabout and Harton, north east of York Slight delays are expected on the A64 between Hopgrove roundabout and Harton due to resurfacing. There will be various lane closures east and westbound until 10 April between 8pm and 6am.
A64 Pickering Interchange, north east of York Slight delays are expected on the A64 at Pickering interchange due to slip road barrier works. There will be various lane closures on the eastbound and westbound exit and entry slip roads between 9.30am and 3.30pm until 26 March.
A64 East Heslerton, north east of York
Slight delays are expected on the A64 at East Heslerton due to resurfacing. There will be convoy working eastbound and westbound until 3 March between 8pm and 6am.
A64 Sherburn, north east of York
Slight delays are expected on the A64 at Sherburn due to resurfacing. There will be convoy working eastbound and westbound from 22 February to 20 March between 8pm and 6 am.
There may also be short lengths of lane closures for routine maintenance work such as gully emptying, sweeping and litter clearance.
