Iron Butts pair begin Mediterranean Adventure for Sport Relief
Danny John-Jules, better known as ‘The Cat’ from TV Sci-fi sitcom Red Dwarf, and co-rider Graham Hoskins began their Iron Butts challenge this week as they aim to raise money for Sport Relief.
The motorcycle adventure, which will see the pair take in 14 countries in 15 days, began in torrential rain as they received an enthusiastic send-off from the Ace Cafe London Motorcycle & Custom Show at the Alexandra Palace at the weekend.
The duo is being supported by leading motorcycle insurance broker Carole Nash, who have provided cover for their journey across Europe, Africa, Asia and the Middle East. Despite the pair encountering problems with the weather, confusion over time zones, fatigue and visa problems, they are now well on their way as they ride for good causes in the UK and overseas.
